How Our Story Began

Our story begins many years ago, when our grandparents and parents cultivated our olive groves in Messinia with passion and personal work.

Through the generations, we inherited the experience in the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and table olives.
The know-how we acquired and our love for primary sector and agriculture was the reason for the establishment of Sardis Estate company.

Since then, the company has been active in the production, standardization and trade of extra virgin olive oil and olives.

As the years passed, the experience we gained from our daily contact with customers and consumers, along with our activity in the food sector showed us the existence of a market need for natural and high-quality products.

Having that need in our mind, we sought collaborations with more producers and family members that are in the food business, achieving to include more products in our range, such as balsamic vinegar and honey.

Production
Process

The production process of extra virgin olive oil takes place under strictly controlled conditions in accordance with EU regulations. The oiling of the fruit is done by cold pressing, preserving the valuable nutrients of the olive oil unchanged.

The produced olive oil is transported from the olive mill to the modern facilities of our company and stored in covered stainless steel tanks. The right storage conditions maintain the constant quality, the unique aroma, the excellent taste and all its rich nutrients.

Our Product

The extra virgin olive oil is produced within the demarcated area of Messinia and has the designation of Kalamata PDO product.

The microclimate and the soil of Messinia are the factors that result in the production of an olive oil rich in nutrients the has very low acidity and excellent K270 and K232 indicators.

The majority of the olives we have come from our own olive groves. The excellent quality of olive oil we produce is the result of the cultivation method, the appropriate time period and the harvesting method. The fruit is oiled within 24 hours of its collection by cold pressing.

Our products are certified by the relevant organizations regarding PDO Kalamata, Agrocert and Organic standards.

Moreover, the production, packaging and standardization of every product complies with the highest standards guidelines, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC.
